It's Official - We Are Out of Food

>> Wednesday, September 10, 2008

No pasta, no rice, no beans, no bread. No fruit, no vegetables, neither fresh nor frozen. But we do have frozen buttercream. And chocolate sauce. Damn Daring Bakers. Anyway...

Here's the last of it.

1. risotto
2. beans and tomatoes
3. garlic toasts with artichoke spread (from a jar)

On the up side - what a perfect time to clean up the fridge! And the freezer. And the pantry. Yay. Cleaning. Go me.

Hahahahahaha. Ahh too funny.
I went through the exact same thing today - the only things I had were peanut butter & jam but no bread, milk but no cereal, and a ton of old separated eggs strewn about the fridge. And a bowl of old ganache... Damn being a baker, indeed.
So I gave in and went shopping instead of doing my work...

I have a fear of starvation so I have way more food than I should. Maybe it is because I never know when the storm is coming... I do live on an island in the middle of the ocean after all...

Didn't expect to see that headline on a food blog. Haha. And yet you still managed to make something that looks great.

I'm incredibly impressed. I'm gonna have to start lurking more often...
