I sure do need a vacation. Good thing I've got one coming up! This time next week I'll be soakin' up the sun. And eating. And sitting. Though now that I've written it I realize that's pretty much what I do everyday and it really doesn't sound that exciting, but Dude! I'm going to Maui. And my children are not. And that is most assuredly exciting. I know, you hate me, I'd hate me too.

Just make sure if you order any kind of Hawaiian beef that you order it two shades rarer than you'd like to receive it. If you like it medium-well, order it medium-rare, and if you like it medium-rare, order it still alive. Because they over-do their steaks in Hawaii. Something fierce.

Enjoy Maui... I live on an island everyday, and I miss the mainland everyday!

Anyway, I love your food posts! Great ideas, great photos!

Hello! My first visit here and may I say...such a treat for lunch! Love all these bento boxes.

I love Maui. I so wish I was going too. Please drink a lava flow for me. Do they still make those? They should - pina colada with strawberry puree in the bottom and streaking on the sides of the glass. MMMMMM....

mimi - but you LIVE in Paradise!

abigail - no bentos, but hopefully you will enjoy the pictures :)

julie - no spam. sad, I know.

spiteful - I ordered a steak, alive. They looked at me weird so I started pretending like I didn't speak English and I ended up with a bowl of rice crispies. I blame you.

para - I'm such a twit - I don't have a clue where Saipan is, I'll look it up right away though!

cecil - thanks for visiting!

desi mommy - they do indeed still serve the lava flow :)
